For Trade: WW2 Canadian Made and Issued MK2. The shell is the correct sprayed OD with the correct WW2 Bolt. It was manufactured in 1942 by ‘C.L/C’ (Canadian Mostar Lamp Company). The shell is in solid condition, with still bright colours. The liner is VMC made, and is a size of 6 7/8ths. The liner itself is in very nice condition. The chinstrap is also in very nice condition. Very well worn original WW2 Royal Canadian Artillery 7A/T (Anti-Tank) Battledress. This BD is the mid-late war tab fastener version, rather than the hook and eye version. The tunic has stains throughout the lines collar from grease or sweat, aswell as in the lines cuff. This would’ve came from the wear and tear of the active soldier. There are a couple moth nips, but nothing major. Half of the patches have been removed, including rank and overseas chevrons and the formation and RCA slip on from the left side of the BD. Japanese Arisaka bullet - wooden.... very strange. Found near Sir Cecil’s Ride at Wong Nai Chung Gap. Head stamp shows it was fired (or misfired) - with possible marks from a cartridge ejector. WW2 PPCLI Battledress with WW2 Canadian P37 Webbing. Everything is WW2 Dated (Pre 1945). Most of the webbing is ZL&TL so from Ontario. There are also bren gun pouches. The BD with all its webbing is difficult to display without a mannequin which I’m looking at getting in the near future. Possibly the coolest part is the belt which is beautifully marked and in well use condition with some of the brown paint off. The shoulder/rank/formation patches are all WW2, however sewn on by hand.
